Toss

Tossing is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a recreational game with other members. You come to the court and will then be more or less randomly assigned to a mix or double with others. You play a round of 45 minutes (30 on Monday mornings), after which the pairs are formed again for the next round.

The track marshals do not take requests, but do look for fun. If there is a large crowd, you can turn in or fate decides that you have to skip a lap.

Afterwards you can of course chat on the terrace with coffee or another drink.

Toss moments

Every week from the beginning of April to the end of October there are various toss options:

  • Monday morning (men) from 9:30 a.m. (entry from 9:00) to 11:00 a.m., three rounds of 30 minutes.
  • Monday evening (mixed) from 7:00 p.m.* to 10:00 p.m., four rounds of 45 minutes.
  • Tuesday evening (mixed) from 7:00 p.m.* to 10 p.m.., four rounds of 45 minutes.
  • Wednesday morning (women) from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

* Make sure you are present 10 minutes before the start of the game round to be assigned. The first round of play will be arranged in random order from 6:50 PM. Arriving earlier is of course allowed, but does not increase the chance of classification.

During the toss moments there are always some courts available to reserve. Always consult the court marshal on duty if you want to play on a court that is reserved for the toss, but is free.

There is no toss on Easter Monday, Whit Monday, during the Open Startbaan Tournament and during the Club Championships (in the evening).
