LTC Startbaan is more than a tennis club — it is a place where people come together, laugh, play sports, and enjoy themselves. That unique atmosphere does not arise

naturally. Behind every tournament, every activity, and every enjoyable day at the park stands a group of enthusiastic volunteers who happily dedicate themselves to the club.

Without them, LTC Startbaan wouldn't be what it is. And we are proud of that. Are you also someone who likes to do their bit? We currently have a number of volunteer positions open.

LTC Startbaan is an association run by enthusiastic volunteers who want to contribute to keeping the club going. Would you like to get active outside of your time on the tennis court? We are always looking for volunteers, and currently we are seeking people for the following positions, among others:

• Youth Autumn Competition Volunteers. Will you help our youth have a fantastic competition morning? For the Autumn Competition, we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers on the following Sunday mornings (08:30–12:00) on September 13, 20, and 27, and October 4 and 11. You choose how many days you help out — even one day is more than welcome! No experience is needed; you are never alone. You will assist in supervising matches for children aged 6 to 17: welcoming teams, guiding them to the courts, and keeping an eye on things. Fun comes first! Want to sign up? • Treasurer - Finance. The board cannot function without a treasurer, and we are still looking. Due to the outsourcing of parts of the administration (including invoicing and collecting membership fees via KNLTB.Club), the process of handling invoices and ensuring payments will become significantly less labor-intensive, and there is also room for more general or other tasks. If you have any affinity with financial matters and are interested in a board position, please do not hesitate to contact the current Acting Treasurer, Mirjam Groenland, at penningmeester@ltcstartbaan.nl. She can provide more information, or an appointment can be made for an exploratory meeting.
  
  
• Member of the Communications Committee. Do you have any knowledge of social media (Facebook and Instagram)? Then come and strengthen the communications committee. Time commitment to be discussed. • Party Committee. During the tennis season, we organize several tournaments and activities. These activities are enjoyable, but they can be made even more fun. Think of the closing of the league season, a party night during the OST, and a party night during the club championships. We want to set up a party committee to help organize these festivities. Do you have ideas about this, or would you like to contribute and help with the organization? Then sign up for the events committee now. The time commitment is variable and negotiable.
