What do the MatchMakers do?

The MatchMakers focuses on recruiting new members and retaining members. The committee ensures that new members receive a warm welcome within the club. Personal attention for every new player during their first year of membership is a key priority. Upon request, new members can be paired with a “tennis buddy”. The task of the buddies is to familiarize the new member with the club, invite them to hit a few balls, attend activities organized for this group, and monitor whether the new member has found their place over the course of the season.

When it comes to member retention, we primarily look at the wishes of the current members. What are their needs? The committee consists of the following people: Sudarshan Chawla, Sjef van Iersel, and Wouter Cosaert. Roland Kieft has also been on this committee since this season.
