Beste leden,

 

Hierbij nodigt het bestuur van LTC Startbaan de leden van LTC Startbaan uit voor een Buitengewone Algemene Ledenvergadering (BALV). Naast onze jaarlijkse ALV in november hebben we nu een vergadering over één onderwerp, namelijk de mogelijkheid om in de winter een blaashal te realiseren op buitenbaan 3 en 4.

 

De BALV organiseren wij in nauwe samenwerking met Park Startbaan. Park Startbaan heeft naar aanleiding van veel vragen vanuit zowel onze vereniging als vanuit de Majors Tennis Academy een uitgebreid onderzoek verricht naar de ontwikkeling van een blaashal. Dit heeft geleid tot het plan voor de plaatsing van een hal over de banen 3 en 4 in de periode van 1 oktober tot en met half maart.

 

Eén van de sleutels voor de realisatie van zo’n hal is gelegen in de financiering, waarvoor een borging via de Stichting Waarborgfonds Sport (SWS) noodzakelijk is. Weliswaar is Park Startbaan de partij die de financiering aan gaat, maar voor de borging is instemming van de LTC Startbaan vereist: de SWS stelt als voorwaarde voor een borging dat de leden akkoord zijn met de investering en de financiële consequenties voor de vereniging.

 

Tijdens de vergadering zal het plan, de financiering en de positie van de LTC Startbaan daarbij uitgebreid toegelicht worden.Wij hopen op een opkomst van zo veel mogelijk leden. Het onderwerp is zeker van belang als je meer mogelijkheden wilt hebben om in de winter op ons park te tennissen.

 

Daarnaast biedt de blaashal mogelijkheden om in afgeslankte vorm clubactiviteiten in de winter voort te zetten.

 

De BALV start om 20.00 uur (inloop vanaf 19.30 uur) op ons tennispark.

Dear members,

 

The board of LTC Startbaan hereby invites the members of LTC Startbaan to an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM). In addition to our annual AGM in November, we are now holding a meeting on a single topic: the possibility of installing an air dome over outdoor courts 3 and 4 during the winter months.

 

We are organising the EGM in close collaboration with Park Startbaan. Following numerous questions from both our club and the Majors Tennis Academy, Park Startbaan has carried out an extensive study into the development of an air dome. This has resulted in a plan to install a hall over courts 3 and 4 from 1 October through to mid-March.

Waarborgfonds Sport (SWS) is required. Although Park Startbaan will be the party taking on the financing, the guarantee requires the approval of LTC Startbaan: the SWS stipulates, as a condition of its guarantee, that the members agree to the investment and its financial consequences for the club.

 

During the meeting, the plan, the financing, and the position of LTC Startbaan within it will be explained in full.

 

We hope for as many members as possible to attend. The topic is certainly of importance if you would like more opportunities to play tennis at our club during the winter. In addition, the air dome offers the possibility of continuing club activities in a reduced capacity throughout the winter months.

 

The EGM begins at 20:00 (doors open from 19:30) at the club.
