Zaterdag 28 maart van 16.30 tot 18.30 uur op LTC Startbaan.

 

Wim Gomersbach gaat op 1 april 2026 stoppen als tennistrainer bij LTC Startbaan. Een bijzonder moment, nadat Wim maar liefst 42 jaar met ongekend veel enthousiasme training bij de club heeft gegeven. Op zaterdag 28 maart organiseren wij als LTC Startbaan het afscheid van Wim van 16.30 tot 18.30 uur, vanzelfsprekend op de Startbaan. Wim heeft laten weten dat hij het erg leuk zou vinden als de leden bij dit afscheid kunnen zijn. 

 

Herinneringsboek

Graag geven we Wim een tastbare herinnering aan zijn mooie tijd bij de vereniging met een herinneringsboek. Wanneer je daaraan mee wil doen, kan je een A4-tje maken die naar eigen creativiteit ingevuld kan worden met een anekdote, een persoonlijk bedankje, een foto, een combinatie hiervan of iets anders dat je kan verzinnen. Je A4'tje kan je uiterlijk maandag 16 maart 2025 sturen naar Erik Koster via technischecommissie@ltcstartbaan.nl.  Houd daarbij rekening met het A4-format, zodat we alles kunnen bundelen.

 

Karakter van het afscheid

Wim heeft aangegeven dat het officiële karakter met toespraken kort kan zijn en dat de nadruk ligt op de borrel na afloop, zodat hij met veel mensen kan praten. Vanuit de vereniging zal Wim toegesproken worden. Wanneer je heel graag Wim wil toespreken, is het verzoek om uiterlijk 10 maart contact op te nemen met Erik Koster via technischecommissie@ltcstartbaan.nl.

 

Laat weten of je komt

Voor de planning is het fijn om te weten hoeveel mensen komen. Daarom het verzoek om vóór 16 maart via technischecommissie@ltcstartbaan.nl aan te geven of je komt. We hopen in ieder geval op grote aanwezigheid, zodat we Wim een prachtig afscheid kunnen geven.

Farewell to Wim Gomersbach as coach of LTC Startbaan

 

Saturday 28 March from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at LTC Startbaan.

Wim Gomersbach will be stepping down as tennis coach at LTC Startbaan on 1 April 2026. A remarkable moment, after Wim has coached at the club for no less than 42 years with incredible enthusiasm. On Saturday 28 March we will be holding a farewell gathering for Wim from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, naturally at the Startbaan. Wim has let us know that he would love to see as many members there as possible.

 

Memory Book

We would like to give Wim a lasting memento of his time at the club in the form of a memory book. If you would like to contribute, you can put together an A4 page in your own style, with an anecdote, a personal note, a photo, a combination of these, or whatever you can think of. Please send your A4 page to Erik Koster at  technischecommissie@ltcstartbaan.nl  by Monday 16 March at the latest. Please keep to the A4 format so that we can bind everything together neatly.

 

The tone of the farewell

Wim has indicated that he would prefer to keep the formal part with speeches brief, with the emphasis on the drinks afterwards so he can chat with as many people as possible. The club will say a few words to Wim on the day. If you would very much like to address Wim yourself, please contact Erik Koster at  technischecommissie@ltcstartbaan.nl  by 10 March at the latest.

To help with planning it would be great to know how many people are coming. So please let us know before 16 March via technischecommissie@ltcstartbaan.nl whether you will be attending. We are hoping for a great turnout so we can give Wim the send-off he deserves.
