Welkom bij de nieuwste clubupdate, met dit keer een persoonlijk bericht van het bestuur en belangrijke informatie over de contributie voor 2026. We blikken terug op de gezellige evenementen van de afgelopen tijd en delen mooi nieuws over onze sponsors.

 

Daarnaast lees je alles over de komende openingsdag en hoe je zelf als vrijwilliger een steentje kunt bijdragen.

Bericht van het bestuur

Dit keer is Heleen Caro aan het woord.

Mijn kennismaking met vrijwilligerswerk.

 

Omdat ik het belangrijk vind om vrijwilligerswerk te doen was ik baancommissaris geworden bij de toss. Met drie avonden in het jaar was dat een rustige start van het vrijwilligerswerk. Het beviel me goed en op die manier leerde ik snel allerlei mensen kennen binnen de vereniging: de andere baancommissarissen en de tossende leden. 

 

Daarna durfde ik de stap wel aan om secretaris in het bestuur te worden. Het is erg leuk dat ik op die manier van alles wat er in de vereniging om gaat op de hoogte ben en mee kan beslissen. Ik organiseer de vergaderingen, maak verslagen en maak digitale overzichten van alle belangrijke informatie.

Contributie 2026 via KNLTB.Club

Eerdaags ontvang je de contributiefactuur van LTC Startbaan voor het seizoen 2026. Zoals eerder geïnformeerd, zal de facturering en betaling niet meer via Club Collect gaan, maar via KNLTB.Club.

De e-mail met de factuur is afkomstig van LTC Startbaan, maar wordt verstuurd via de KNLTB (clubinfo@knltb.email).

In de e-mail staat een link en als je op deze link klikt zie je het logo van KNLTB Club en de naam van LTC Startbaan en een button 'bekijk uw factuur'.

Indien je hierop klikt, zie je de factuur en een button van Ideal waarmee je de factuur op een eenvoudige manier kunt betalen.

Voor alle vragen omtrent de factuur of betalingen, kun je een mail sturen naar penningmeester@ltcstartbaan.nl .

 

28 maart openingsdag en afscheid Wim Gomersbach

Op zaterdag 28 maart organiseren we onze Openingsdag voor het seizoen 2026. Zet dit alvast in je agenda. Het programma volgt later. Grofweg kunnen we wel alvast aangeven dat er een programma is voor de jeugd in de ochtend en in de middag, van 13.00 tot 16.00 uur, voor de senioren.

 

Daarna vindt er een afscheidsreceptie plaats voor Wim Gomersbach waar alle leden welkom zijn om afscheid van hem te nemen. 

 

Royal Coster Diamonds verlengt sponsorcontract

Op 21 januari jl. heeft Royal Coster Diamonds de sponsoring van LTC Startbaan verlengd. De ondertekening van het nieuwe contract markeert de voortzetting van een succesvolle samenwerking, waar beide partijen met grote tevredenheid op terugkijken.

Royal Coster Diamonds is al vele jaren de trouwe sponsor van onze tennisvereniging waarbij ze onder meer de aanschaf van clubkleding voor de onze jeugdcompetitieteams financieel ondersteunen. 

Met de verlenging van het Match Plus-contract voor een periode van minimaal 3 jaar kijken we vol vertrouwen naar de toekomst. De samenwerking blijft een stevige basis vormen voor verdere groei, sportieve successen en mooie gezamenlijke momenten, zowel op als naast de baan. 

 

Impressie nieuwjaarsborrel 

Op 10 januari jl. organiseerden LTC Startbaan en Park Startbaan de gezamenlijke nieuwjaarborrel. Ondanks het slechte weer was de opkomst prima. De sfeer was ook goed mede door de live muziek van Sonny Griffin. Verder werden de gasten getrakteerd op lekkere hapjes en drankjes en niet te vergeten bubbels en oliebollen. 

Op de foto’s onder meer Harry van Tongeren, Rein Willems en Mirjam Groenland die toespraken hielden. En foto’s van Lonneke Koenders die de Dick Hulst-bokaal kreeg toegereikt als meest verdienstelijke vrijwilliger van het afgelopen seizoen.

 

Oliebollentoernooi 2026 geslaagd

Het oliebollentoernooi van 2 januari jl. was weer heel gezellig.

De rode tenniskids startten het toernooi, tezamen met oranje en vervolgens groen en geel die tot 's avonds 19:00 uur hun wedstrijden speelden. Tussendoor werd er limonade gedronken en uiteraard oliebollen gegeten.

De winnaars van de dag kregen een prijs; daarnaast ontving Lisa Koenders ook een prijs uit handen van Maria Bellis voor de meest verkochte Grote Clubactie loten. Zie onderstaand ook enkele foto’s.

 

 

Vrijwilligers gezocht

LTC Startbaan is continu op zoek naar vrijwilligers. Momenteel zoeken we onder meer naar de volgende functies:

 

• Financiën. Penningmeester voor het verwerken en afhandelen van facturen en het zorgdragen van betalingen.  Eventueel het verzorgen van de jaarcijfers.
• Coördinator vrijwilligers. Afstemmen van de vraag met commissies en bestuur. Op zoek gaan naar vrijwilligers. Vraag en aanbod op elkaar afstemmen.
• Lid Communicatie commissie. Heb jij enig verstand van social media (FaceBook en Instagram)? Kom dan de communicatie commissie versterken.

A message from the board

This time, Heleen Caro shares her story about getting involved as a volunteer.

I have always felt that volunteering is an important thing to do, so I started out as a court coordinator for our social tennis sessions. Since it was only three evenings a year, it was a very gentle way to get started. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and it was a great way to quickly meet all sorts of people at the club, from the other volunteers to the members who come to play.

Because I enjoyed that so much, I felt ready to take the next step and become the secretary on the board. It is really nice because I get to stay up to date with everything happening in the club and I can help make decisions. I organise the meetings, write up the notes, and keep all our important information organised digitally.

Membership Fees for 2026

You will soon receive your membership invoice from LTC Startbaan for the 2026 season.

 

As we mentioned previously, we are moving away from Club Collect. This year, all billing and payments will go through KNLTB.Club instead. You will receive an email from LTC Startbaan, but it will be sent via the KNLTB address: clubinfo@knltb.email.

 

In that email, you will find a link. When you click it, you’ll see the KNLTB Club logo and our club name, along with a button to 'view your invoice'. Once you click that, you can see the details and use the iDEAL button to make the payment quickly and easily.

 

If you have any questions at all about your invoice or the payment process, please feel free to send an email to our treasurer at penningmeester@ltcstartbaan.nl .

 

28th March: Opening Day and Farewell for Wim Gomersbach

On Saturday, 28th March, we are hosting our Opening Day for the 2026 season. Please save the date in your diary. We will share the full programme later, but we can already tell you that there will be a session for the junior players in the morning and a session for the adults in the afternoon from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

 

After the tennis, we are holding a farewell reception for Wim Gomersbach. All members are very welcome to come along and say goodbye to him.

 

Royal Coster Diamonds Sponsorship

On 21st January, Royal Coster Diamonds renewed their sponsorship with LTC Startbaan. We have been working together for many years now, and both the club and the sponsors are very happy to continue the partnership.

 

Royal Coster Diamonds has been a loyal supporter for a long time. One of the main ways they help is by providing the funding for our junior league teams' kits. This new agreement means they will be supporting us for at least another three years. We are really looking forward to the future and more great times together, both on and off the court.

 

New Year’s Drinks Highlights

On 10th January, LTC Startbaan and Park Startbaan held our joint New Year’s drinks. Even though the weather was quite poor, we had a great turnout. The atmosphere was wonderful, especially with the live music from Sonny Griffin. Everyone enjoyed the snacks and drinks, including the traditional bubbles and oliebollen.

 

In the photos, you can see Harry van Tongeren, Rein Willems, and Mirjam Groenland giving their speeches. There are also photos of Lonneke Koenders receiving the Dick Hulst Trophy. She was named our most outstanding volunteer of the past season.

 

A Great Day at the Oliebollen Tournament

Our Oliebollen tournament on 2nd January was another lovely event.

 

The younger children in the 'Red' category kicked things off, followed by the 'Orange' group. After that, the 'Green' and 'Yellow' players had their turn, with matches continuing until 7:00 pm. Between the games, everyone enjoyed some lemonade and, of course, plenty of oliebollen.

 

Prizes were given to the winners of the day. A special prize was also awarded to Lisa Koenders by Maria Bellis for selling the most tickets for the 'Grote Clubactie' fundraiser. You can see some photos of the day below.

We are looking for volunteers!

LTC Startbaan is always looking for people to help out around the club. At the moment, we have a few specific roles we would love to fill:

 

• Finance: Helping our treasurer with processing invoices and making sure payments are handled. If you have the right experience, you could also help with preparing our annual accounts.
• Volunteer Coordinator: This involves talking to the board and various committees to find out what help they need, and then finding people who might want to take on those tasks. It is all about matching the right person with the right job.
• Communication Committee: If you have a good understanding of social media, particularly Facebook and Instagram, we would love your help with our club's online presence.

News from Park Startbaan

There are two updates on the Park Startbaan website that are important for our club, especially regarding some upcoming changes. You can follow the link for more details.

 

One major update is that Herman Mus is retiring. He will be succeeded by Gijs Abelen.
